Volunteer Spotlight: Alexander Silverman-Dultz Junior Firefighter Shares His Unique Volunteer Experience

When a family friend told Alexander Silverman-Dultz about volunteer opportunities with the Rocky Hill Fire Department, he decided to give it a try. One year later, Alexander has built long-lasting friendships and memories through the volunteer fire service.

“I volunteer because I enjoy serving my community, and I have benefited from the profound sense of camaraderie unique to this fire department,” he said.

As a junior firefighter, he has responded to a wide variety of emergency calls. Being on the other side and able to be the one providing help to those in dire need is a really good feeling, Alexander says.

“The Rocky Hill Fire Department is kind of like a second family to me, and I think that every hour of hard work that I put into it has been more than worth it. Joining the Rocky Hill Fire Department offers an incredible opportunity for both personal and professional growth,” said Alexander. To learn more about how you make a positive impact in your community by volunteering with the Rocky Hill Fire Department visit JoinRockyHillFire.org
